The Quality Board welcome Dr Ólöf Gerður Sigfúsdóttir as Executive Director (framkvæmdastjóri) of the Secretariat and Þorgerður Edda Hall as senior adviser. We are pleased that this very strong team will allow us to meet our responsibilities and serve the Icelandic higher education sector even more effectively.
Ólöf succeeds Dr Sigurður (Siggi) Óli Sigurðsson whom we thank for his excellent service since 2015. We are grateful that he shouldered the increasing workload singlehandedly and we wish him well in his new post.
