The report details the findings of the Institution-Wide Review process for University of Iceland in the second cycle of the Quality Enhancement Framework for Icelandic Higher Education (QEF2). The process began with University of Iceland ’s submission of a Reflective Analysis in 2019, but a site visit could not be conducted in 2020 due to the effects of COVID-19. A virtual review visit was conducted in lieu of a site visit by the Review Team in May 2021.
The report details University of Iceland’s numerous strengths, as well as areas for improvement noted by the Review Team. The report concludes with judgments on the University's arrangements to secure the academic standards of its awards; and its arrangements to secure the quality of the student learning experience.
